Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to the Galaxy Matrimony app and website (the "service"), operated by GALAXY TECHNOLOGIES INDIA ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you are using the service to look for a marriage partner for yourself, or with the consent of the person the profile is for.

2. Your account and profile

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for all activity on your account.
• The information, photos and messages you provide must be true, accurate and your own.
• You may have only one account, and you must not create a profile for someone else without their permission.

3. Profile and photo moderation

• New profiles and every photo you upload are reviewed by our team before other members can see them. Until then they remain private.
• We may approve, reject or remove any profile, photo or other content that does not follow these terms. Only approved photos are shown to other members.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not:

• post false information, or impersonate any person;
• upload photos of other people, or photos that are sexually explicit, violent or offensive;
• post content that is illegal, hateful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• harass, threaten, stalk or intimidate other members;
• ask other members for money, or use the service for fraud, scams, advertising, marketing or any commercial purpose;
• collect or misuse other members' information;
• interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass its security, moderation or membership restrictions.

5. Messaging and chat conduct

• Chat is available only between members who have both accepted an interest.
• Be respectful and honest in every conversation. Harassment, abusive language, explicit content, requests for money and unwanted repeated contact are not allowed.
• Use your judgement before sharing personal information, and take sensible precautions before meeting anyone in person.

6. Contact information privacy

Your mobile number and email address are not shown on your profile. You may choose to share your contact details with a member you are connected with. You must not share another member's contact details or messages with anyone else without their permission, or use them for anything other than getting to know that member.

7. Reporting

You can report any profile or conversation that breaks these terms. We review reports and may take action, including removing content, warning a member, or suspending or terminating an account.

8. Blocking

You can block any member. Once blocked, they no longer appear in your Discovery feed and you can no longer message each other.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate an account, with or without notice, if it breaks these terms, if we reasonably believe it is fake or is being misused, or to protect other members. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

10. Memberships and payments

• Basic membership is free. It lets you create and manage your profile, view the profiles of other members, and send and receive interest requests. Basic does not include chat or messaging.
• Premium adds chat and messaging with eligible matches while the membership is active. VIP includes everything in Premium plus family-house / residential verification, salary / income verification and a special VIP video. The price, duration and benefits of each plan are shown on the Membership Plans page before you pay.
• Paid plans are paid by UPI using the official Galaxy Matrimony QR code, with the transaction reference and a screenshot of the payment. A screenshot is not proof of payment: a plan becomes active only after our team has verified the actual payment, the exact amount, the selected plan and the transaction reference. Until then it stays pending and no paid benefit is available.
• A plan ends automatically at the end of its duration unless it is renewed. Chat stops when the membership ends or when you return to Basic.
• Documents you upload for VIP verification are private: only you and our verification team can see them. Uploading a document never marks it verified; only our team does that after checking.
• For any payment or membership question, please contact Galaxy Matrimony support for assistance, preferably before deleting your account.

11. Wedding services

Photographers, event managers and other providers listed under Other Services are independent businesses, not members of the matrimonial service. Any arrangement you make with them is between you and the provider.

12. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from My Profile → Delete Account, or by following the steps on the Account Deletion page. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what is kept.

13. No guarantee

We help members find each other, but we do not guarantee that you will find a match, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of any member's information, even after moderation. You are responsible for your own interactions with other members, online and offline.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version is always available on this page. If you keep using the service after an update, you accept the updated terms.
